Cacao & Berry Overnight Oats

My Cacao & Berry Overnight Oats are creamy, tangy & the best part - chocolatey!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 2 tsp cacao powder

  • 1 tsp maple syrup, optional

  • Dash of cinnamon

  • 1 cup plant milk

  • 1 tbs coconut yogurt, to serve

  • Fresh berries, optional

Berry Jam

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen berries

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

Add the oats, chia seeds, cacao and cinnamon to a small glass jar and mix well. Stir in the maple syrup and plant milk. Place in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 2 hours.

In a small saucepan, cook down the berries on medium heat. Once done, remove from heat and stir in the chia seeds. Set aside to cool.

To serve, pour over the berry jam and top with fresh berries and coconut yogurt. Enjoy!
